From a small workshop to an industrial benchmark

Over 65 years turning metal into solutions for industry. Since 1958, at EDSAONE we have grown step by step, adding technology, talent and new processes to offer our customers comprehensive, higher value-added solutions.

The beginnings: Barrencalle, 1958

We started out manufacturing washers, rings and springs. What began as a workshop specialising in standard parts would become a benchmark in Basque metalworking.

We diversified our catalogue and opened the door to the automotive sector, supplying as a Tier 1 to groups such as Peugeot, Citroën, Renault and Bosch.

Growth and a new site: Pilastra

Growth led us to build a new factory in Pilastra, Iurreta-Durango, which tripled our original floor space.

A second extension used up all the available land and, in 1993, the company was incorporated as Estampaciones Durango, S.A. (EDSA), beginning a new chapter.

From part to assembly: greater added value

We integrated more complex processes: sheet metal stamping, heat treatments, assembly of sub-assemblies, welding and prototypes. A complete solution that shortens the supply chain and adds reliability to the final product.

In 2004 we set up Assy-Line in Valladolid, specialising in the assembly of window regulator systems for the automotive industry.

The future: MESHIND and laser technology

We launched MESHIND together with the AZTERLAN Technology Centre, introducing technology that is pioneering in Europe: LBW laser welding, Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) and High Speed LMD, and reverse engineering.

Innovation and collaboration to keep transforming the metal industry and build the future.
