Product engineering
We collaborate from the very start to ensure the technical feasibility and economic viability of your metal solution, optimising every stage of the design.
We collaborate from the very start to ensure the technical feasibility and economic viability of your metal solution, optimising every stage of the design.
Beyond product design, we offer technical collaboration to make a metal solution feasible, optimise it or industrialise it more effectively.
We get involved from the initial phase of the project, before the quotation stage, to add value where it has the greatest impact: before the design is frozen.
Our team works side by side with the customer’s technical team to analyse process feasibility, propose modifications aimed at feasibility and viability, and anticipate industrialisation requirements, reducing surprises at the launch stage.
When the design and the project allow, we turn solutions made up of multiple part numbers into more efficient single assemblies: fewer components, fewer joints, fewer points of failure.
This approach reduces the total cost of the component, simplifies assembly on the customer’s line and improves the robustness of the final product. It is not just manufacturing: it is engineering applied to savings.
Examples of value delivered:

Rapid prototyping and validation capability
We manufacture functional metal prototypes that are fully representative of series production. We integrate design engineering, 3D-printed concept models and advanced multi-technology manufacturing in-house to shorten approval times with the full assurance of IATF 16949.
Hot stamping part
DFM co-design, high-precision 3D scanning and CAD/CAM modelling to optimise geometries and predict production behaviour in series.
Rapid manufacture of mock-ups and polymer prototypes for early dimensional validation, assembly checks and ergonomics.
2D/3D laser cutting and forming/stamping using flexible tooling and pilot dies to replicate real stresses and shapes.
3D laser welding, resistance welding, robotic TIG/MIG, LMD metal additive manufacturing (DED-LB/p) and quenching and tempering heat treatment.
Build-to-print manufacturing at EDSA does not mean simple manufacturing: it means having a partner who masters the process, anticipates deviations and delivers with the traceability and documentation that demanding sectors require.
We work as an extension of your technical team from day one.
We optimise the design and the process to cut costs and improve performance.
We anticipate problems and ensure feasibility before production.
More robust, efficient solutions that are ready to compete.
Our technical and sales team is at your disposal to help you.
